Verdict

Benemeade started favourite when falling in the race won by Rawnaq at Navan then beat the useful Clonbanan Lad at Gowran. He's still improving and looks certain to go well while Rawnaq eventually won by 20 lengths that day on his only start over fences. Blacklough beat the in-form It's All An Act at Listowel before falling at Tipperary but a chance is taken that LOTS OF MEMORIES (NAP) can make a successful debut over the larger obstacles. A Grade 3 winner on this track over timber a year ago, he wasn't beaten far at the highest level at Punchestown in April and has all the attributes to make a very useful chaser. There are others with chances in a race that should prove informative for the coming months.
