In depth

Verdict

A very nice prize has attracted a strong line-up. Nearest The Pin was sent to Worcester last month and scored for A P McCoy then fell when holding every chance at Sligo. Lucky William looked a brilliant prospect when landing the Grade 1 Ryanair Novice Chase at Punchestown in 2012 but has only run twice subsequently. Theatre Mill makes his handicap debut over fences and may find this daunting while Formidableopponent needs to brush up his jumping. Gentleman Duke was well handicapped when scoring over timber at Ballinrobe and this is tougher so the vote goes to the veteran FOSTERS CROSS, who completed a double in August before another good effort at Galway where he only faded clase home. Johnny Burke's claim will aid Beckwith Star, who has done well over hurdles this summer.
