Verdict

Paul Nolan's mare REVELLING receives all the allowances here and ran an excellent third to Apt Manor at Galway last time. She also has the benefit of Michael Doran's claim and looks ready to gain her first success over timber. The progressive Down In Neworleans looks a big threat as there was plenty to admire about his very close third to Gran Torino at Thurles 10 days ago and both trip and conditions will play to his strengths. The Big Mosquito had looked promising when runner-up at Thurles in January but disappointed when strongly fancied on a return visit the following month. Winning point-to-pointer Novedevichy was returning from a break when a decent fifth behind Carloswayback over the minimum trip at Limerick a week ago and will be much better suited by today's distance.
