Verdict

CROISULTAN has the call on official ratings and has bounced back to form on soft ground this spring. He returned to land a Curragh handicap in March when beating Maarek, who was receiving 7lb, by a neck and put a shocking run on this track behind him when runner-up in a Group 3 back at the Curragh last month. Six Of Hearts was beaten almost 2l in that March event in receipt of 6lb and though his jockey's claim will help he's unlikely to trouble the selection. Gordon Lord Byron is on the upgrade but a line through Maarek, who beat him at Naas last month when conceding 7lb, suggests he has a mountain to climb at these weights. Arctic has never come close to recapturing his brilliant juvenile form when he landed a Group 3 by over 4l while the three-year-old Muck'N'Brass has only raced on Polytrack and faces a stiff task.
