Verdict

KING BLUE (NAP) was a maiden when he came here in March though he'd shown ability on several occasions. He relished the testing ground and won so easily that he's been raised 9lb but Ruby Walsh has been booked and another victory looks on the cards. Cairde Aris is progressing fast and followed a very good second here with a comfortable maiden victory at Wexford. Captain Von Trappe ran in a much better race at Fairyhouse last time after his Naas victory when subsequent winner Voisey's Bay was 3l behind. Golden Ticket continues to run well and is just 2lb higher than his last victory.
