Verdict

TWINLIGHT and Days Hotel are the last two winners of this and the former comfortably beet his rival in a Grade 2 at Navan last month. He puts in the odd poor run, as he did behind Days Hotel at Naas in February, but his overall form and liking for testing conditions give him the edge. Felix Yonger also represents Willie Mullins and he's no forlorn hope as he's been placed at the very highest level over hurdles and fences. A P McCoy is on board Alderwood, as he was at Cheltenham last year when they won the Grand Annual. Tom Mullins' charge is gradually working his way back to form and can go well. Mallowney has been unfortunate not to have won more than twice over fences while Foildubh beat Days Hotel narrowly at Fairyhouse last year though was receiving 6lband the latter has improved more.
