In depth

Verdict

OCEAN BRIGHT had been in fine form over hurdles before reverting to fences and just failing to hold Ipsos Du Berlais at Downpatrick. That was easily her best run to date and she can go one better. Back In A Tic showed promise earlier this year, especially when not beaten far in a Grade 3, and looked in need of her reappearance at Listowel last month. Lough Roe Lady has been running poorly since showing early promise over fences but winning point-to-pointer and hurdler Backinthere looks just the type to do well over the bigger obstacles and is one to keep an eye on. The five-year-old Speckled Wood will have learned from her introduction to fences at Sligo and is another to note.
