Verdict

CHASING SHADOWS had shown nothing over fences before a much improved effort to run Carrig Millie close at Thurles. She had Back In A Tic behind on that occasion and though the latter improved on her next start at Limerick there's no real reason why the positions should be reversed. Gerdalia has more experience than most and has run in better company but she doesn't find much and looks booked for a place at best. Winning point-to-pointer Castle Genie has plenty to find but may prove best of the remainder.
