Verdict

Harold's Cross completed an early summer hat-trick but went up 29lb as a consequence and was well beaten at Kilbeggan in July. He should do better back in novice company though GALA DANCER may have his measure at the weights. Paul Nolan's charge had Your Busy 7l behind when scoring at Ballinrobe and was nowhere near his best when falling at Listowel last time, a race in which the promising Action Master finished runner-up. Neither Cottage Oak nor Fort George can be ruled out in a race that should produce plenty of winners this winter.
