Verdict

PRINCE LUDOVIC, a winning point-to-pointer, made a bright start over timber at Punchestown in October but than ran very poorly in heavy ground on his next three outings. He bounced back with an excellent run in a Wexford handicap last time and today's better ground and longer trip should enable him to gain his first success under Rules. Tales Of Milan looks a threat as he showed his first sign of ability at Thurles last time, staying on strongly over the 2m trip and is certain to be suited by the extra half-mile here. Prince Of Diamonds produced a reasonable effort at Fairyhouse in December but flopped in very heavy going at Tramore on New Year's Day. Corbally Cross hasn't shown much in two starts but a longer trip and better ground could bring about some improvement.
