In depth

Verdict

Magen's Star looked an exciting prospect when making all at Thurles and will probably attempt a repeat but the form hasn't worked out as well as expected. Instant Pur produced an outstanding performance for a four-year-old to beat a big field at Cork and her allowance will make her difficult to beat here but this looks a tougher race with both Stephanie Kate and BELLE BROOK in excellent form. The pair met in a mares' Listed contest at Fairyhouse last month when the latter ran brilliantly to be beaten less than a length by Our Girl Salley. That was over an extra two furlongs and Stephanie Kate can get much closer without quite managing to reverse the placings.
