The inaugural running of this latest addition to the Breeders' Cup jamboree can go to the likely short-priced favourite SECRET CIRCLE. Bob Baffert's colt has run out a clear-cut winner on both starts to date, including on the dirt at Santa Anita last month, and the form is backed up with impressive speed figures. Vexor landed a Grade 2 at Belmont last time with Trinniberg in second and Seeker back in third, though the latter may well reverse the form if any rain shows up as he ran a big race on a sloppy track earlier in the year. Holdin Bullets won his only start back in April and was being aimed at Royal Ascot until a setback, while the lone European challenger Shumoos has won a Group 3 at Kempton but will have to pull something special out of the bag to land this.
