Verdict

KICKBOXER has only tackled this trip once previously and that was on heavy going. He's been raised 6lb for a comfortable success at Ripon and his young rider's claim can see him gain his third success in his last four runs. Pool House has shot up the weights after an early-year hat-trick on Polytrack and finished last of four at Beverley while Yagheer, who has run well on soft ground, enjoyed the Fibresand at Southwell last time and may find this too quick. Roachdale House was behind the selection last time and hasn't recaptured last season's form but stablemate Tiger Twenty Two didn't enjoy front-running at York and is better judged on several earlier efforts there.
