Verdict

LAYLA'S HERO shares top weight in this but he's 2lb lower than when fourth at Catterick last month and looks to be running into form. He looks a better bet than stablemate Rio Cobolo and can show these rivals a clean pair of heels. The danger may be Suffolk Punch, who only went down by a head at York earlier this month and is a consistent sort at this level, though Viva Ronaldo is well treated on his old form and hinted at a revival at Catterick last time. Bowmaker has gone backwards since finishing second at Lingfield but Not My Choice won at Catterick last month and has good record around here.
