Verdict

This maiden might not take much winning and Kyllachy Star, despite his recent disappointing efforts, is the selection to finally break his maiden tag. He was slowly away on his handicap debut at Goodwood last time, meeting trouble in running when attempting to make up ground while he found the ground far too lively at York on his penultimate start. He displayed lots of promise on debut at Carlisle and his low draw is an added advantage. Breeding suggests Box Office will be more effective over further but given connections, market support would make him of some interest. Cyflymder benefitted for his initial racecourse experience when finishing fourth on his second start at Doncaster. That may not have been a bad maiden as the second was due to contest the Acomb at York on Tuesday while the third was taught good enough to contest the Chesham at Royal Ascot. Key To Love and Tillers Satisfied have to improve on what they have achieved to date and Kyllachy Star is the nomination.
