In depth

Verdict

Daddy Warbucks is a real battler but probably a few pounds high now while Miss Cap Estel didn't have much to do to land a Ffos Las maiden but ran well enough on her handicap debut at Epsom. Sir Fredlot hasn't impressed since scoring at Ayr in June while BUSTER BROWN was held up until the last moment before scoring at Newcastle. This isn't the easiest of tracks to stage a repeat but Dale Swift knows him well and his 3lb claim can help his mount follow up. Darling Lexi won a moderate claimer here last time while her stablemate Badea disappointed at Southwell last time though the surface may not have suited. Time Of My Life won a Wexford handicap by an incredible 15l in May and was beaten at odds of 2/9 under a penalty. He went up an astonishing 29lb for that victory and has joined Patrick Holmes so he's an interesting entry.
