Verdict

Slow ground and a high draw have done Fred Willetts no favours and likewise Baldemar. My Kingdom won't mind the going but he, too, will have to race wide or drop in from a disadvantageous draw. Masked Dance and Arganil have better stall positions but have both ran shockers since winning and Corporal Maddox makes more appeal dropping back in trip. The latter sports his owners second colours as top weight PARISIAN PYRAMID wears the first and looks to have every chance dropped in class with a 7lb claimer helping his cause. Pat Morris' charge gets the vote to end a long losing run with plenty in his favour.
