Verdict

An Cat Dubh won his maiden here last season but hasn't progressed since on the evidence of this year's efforts. The veteran Green Park bounced back with a win at Thirsk last time but See The Storm makes more appeal on his recent victory at Warwick. Gabrial's Gift hasn't threatened in a couple of starts since scoring at Chepstow and a chance is taken on MUFTARRES. This looks less competitive than his recent task at Beverley where he found a Sir Michael Stoute-trained favourite too good and he may have the edge today with an apprentice's 7lb allowance in his favour.
