    Verdict

Hard to imagine many punters viewing a 14-runner amateur riders sprint as ideal 'getting-out stakes' material, but let's take a chance with BAHAMIAN LAD, who is now down to a career-low mark after a string of very modest efforts. However, he showed a glimpse of his old form at Wolverhampton last time when definitely suggesting the drop back to 6f would aid his cause. Royal Box is the most consistent performer on show and looks solid each-way material, whilst Sir Nod has the assistance of the talented Simon Walker and arrives on the back of a good runner-up effort at Carlisle latest. Royal Blade has progressed really well this term, albeit from a lowly starting point, and should go well again from a central draw.
