      Verdict

Rene Mathis has won twice at Wolverhampton but, though there's no reason why he shouldn't take to Turf, he doesn't have the best of draws. Archie Stevens was just behind him last time but he's berthed even wider while Dominate's two victories have come on soft ground and he's also on the outside. Irish raider Your Pal Tal has the inside berth and, after scoring over this trip at Dundalk, has raced over further and on heavy ground so he's on the short-list but MAYAASEM showed plenty of promise in his first season and got off the mark in a Pontefract maiden last month. He could have got in here lightly and gets the nod over Moviesta, who was brought with a strong run to score at Doncaster and is still on the upgrade.
