Verdict

Ruler Of The World is one of Aidan O'Brien's five winners in the last eight years and he went on to land the big one at Epsom in 2013. This year's representative HANS HOLBEIN has so far only won a maiden race at Leopardstown but the half-brother to an Irish St Leger winner is expected to show a big improvement over this longer trip. Future Empire did not handle Epsom particularly well when second in last month's Derby Trial and he could also struggle with the camber at this track but Tannaaf ran well for fourth in the Tattersalls Millions Trophy at Newmarket three weeks ago. He should confirm superiority with Proposed, while Storm The Stars had Obsidian, rated 87, behind when landing a Leicester maiden and he could also go well. Medrano has had a couple of outings in testing ground in France this year but never threatened on either occasion.
