Verdict

On a line through Kempton winner Sure Route, Cala Santanyi appears to have a little to find with CHEHERAZAD. Paul Cole's filly found only Hezmah too good on her debut at Newbury and, though the winner was beaten next time, can go one better here. Elmaam showed promise when third at Newmarket in the autumn and will know more today but Winged Valkyrie spurned a good opportunity to get off the mark at Wolverhampton in September and is probably best watched for now. A similar remark can also be applied to Azzoom but Heatherbird wasn't disgraced on her return at Newmarket and is less exposed than Layla Jamil.
