    Verdict

Face The Problem proved himself a speedy individual last year and made an encouraging reappearance when third to Iver Bridge Lad at Nottingham. He is likely to blaze a trail here from stall one and must go on the short-list. But we'll give anther chance to AHTOUG, who had Julius Geezer and Ballista behind when second to Night Carnation at Sandown 12 days ago. Successful at Beverley and Wolverhampton last year, the Godolphin colt looks reasonably handicapped at present. Bold Bidder ran a nice race when returning to handicap company at Doncaster and looks best of the rest as Mappin Time may need this, Scarlet Rocks looks to be regressing and Jamesway is possibly just too high in the weights at present.
