Verdict

Aidan O'Brien won this with Soldier Of Fortune and Golden Sword and relies on TREASURE BEACH this time. The son of Galileo was always likely to do better in his second campaign and though well beaten behind Frankel in the Royal Lodge he wasn't disgraced and will be more at home over this trip. Nathaniel had a virtual walkover to land a Haydock maiden on his return but Slumber made more of an impression with an excellent victory in the Investec Derby Trial at Epsom and will also be suited by the step-up in trip. Sadler's Risk ran better than Madawi in the Tattersalls Millions at Newmarket but both will need to improve to take this.
