Verdict

Some useful performers have won this in the past and AWAIT THE DAWN should join them. Aidan O'Brien's Giant's Causeway colt has a penalty for his facile victory in a Leopardstown Group 3 in September but looked a potential top-class performer that day and has entries in all the major summer events. Forte Dei Marmi should make the transition to pattern races this campaign and will be better for his recent run but Distant Memories would prefer some give in the ground and he's unlikely to get that here. Dream Eater may prove the chief threat as he's been placed at a higher level than this though he's yet to win after 21 attempts at Group level.
