Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Royal Redemption was second on his debut under Rules at Warwick but was beaten more than 24 lengths. However, he's one of the more interesting runners in this along with Ayr fifth Oh So Fruity. Uncle Tone was tailed off on his hurdling debut but Wait A Second may do better over obstacles after a pipe-opener in a bumper and Kavanaghs Corner ran a subsequent hurdles winner to a neck between the flags at Maralin in November. CHOSEN WELL won a point-to-point in Ireland last April and is unlikely to fail here through lack of fitness - he gets a tentative vote.
