Sir Mark Prescott's ability to turn maiden geese into handicap swans has served the Baronet and his patrons for many a year and SOLAR VIEW should be able to shrug off a 6lb penalty for his victory at Beverley on Monday. Though hanging left in the closing stages, he already had the race in the bag and there should be more to come. Queen's Star was 12/1 on her handicap debut but she clearly didn't know her price as she slugged it out in the Sandown mud to score. On that evidence, she should be capable of taking a further step up in trip. Kings Apollo has kept counsel in moderate company over hurdles and has clearly not lived up to his illustrious breeding while David's Folly is stoutly bred though her supporters will need to forgive her a couple of disappointing runs on testing going.
