    Verdict

SEVENTEEN SEVENTY has plenty going for him here. A C&D winner, the sole three-year-old goes well on soft ground, remains fairly treated after a decent effort when runner-up at Warwick last time and has the potential to improve further after just nine runs. Red Rhythm is another possible improver but the capable-if-frustrating Bookiesindex Boy could emerge as the main threat despite his current losing run of 27. He's been in good form of late, though needs everything to go his way. Spic 'N Span has nine career successes to his name but only one has been on Turf so the consistent Yanza and C&D winner Scommettitrice, down to a career-low mark of just 45, may be best of the rest.
