Verdict

THE HAGUE has been a bit disappointing but he can bounce back here with a win at the main expense of a shortlist headed by Mr Udagawa, recent winner Global and Bahkov. In four maiden starts to date The Hague has shown some semblance of ability, especially the run behind Dunes Queen at Kempton two runs back. His latest run at Southwell was poor but he may not have handled the surface and therefore this mark of 65 for handicaps may be on the lenient side. Mr Udagawa was unfancied when racing at Newmarket on his reappearance but he should improve for that run and is not to be ignored alongside Dannios who signed off with a poor effort last year but is probably better than that. A visor is tried on Dhania, Mytivil and West With The Wind ran fairly well in defeat last time. Global has a penalty for his Salisbury win over ten furlongs but he is still open to plenty of improvement, as are Bahkov and Kingshill Prince. Philip Robinson looks an interesting booking for Golden Flight but it is The Hague who can lead them home.
