Verdict

Brandon Thomas was only third off his new mark at Huntingdon after beating Sablazo and Enchanting Smile at Plumpton. Hector's House dumped Robbie Dunne on the turf when favourite at Towcester last month while it's almost two years since Jeanry last ran over fences and Mister Wiseman has had a break since pulled up at Plumpton in December. THE INFORMANT looked a lost cause prior to winning at Southwell and is 6lb higher here. But perhaps connections have now found his best trip and, with Kevin Jones claiming 7lb, a follow-up looks likely.
