Verdict

Alder Mairi came right back to form on heavy ground at Wincanton last month but has been raised the obligatory 7lb since. Lord Protector failed to build on his Sandown win over a longer trip at Wetherby next time while Swynmor is proving hard to win with and Tiger O'Toole has now finished tailed off in his last three starts. SOMEMOTHERSDOHAVEM is slowly regaining his form and now 5lb lower than when just beaten at Ascot last April. He appeared to handle heavy going at Warwick so gets the nod as Lava Lamp appears to have lost his way lately.
