In depth

Verdict

FALCON'S REIGN won a better race at Newmarket in November and can effectively race off a lower mark with Ali Rawlinson's claim taken into account - he's taken to make a winning return. Peak Storm landed a double over 7f here in September but in plating races and he's been well beaten since. Raging Bear will take advantage of his slide down the weights before long and Sweet Martoni is another on a decent mark if she can get her act together. Granell was rated 17lb higher at this time last year but still failed to figure on his reappearance at Nottingham.
