Verdict

LAISH YA HAJAR is thought good enough to land this handicap, while Hucking Heat and King of Connacht are both worthy of respect. The selection won twice in similar races last season. The latest of those victories came in a decent Newmarket handicap off a mark of 65, and he has to have a good chance of landing himself back in the winners enclosure off only a 3lb higher mark. Hucking Heat won three times on the all weather over the winter and was not discredited on his seasonal reappearance at Haydock last time out so any market moves should be noted. King of Connacht won off a 4lb lower mark at Bath on his penultimate outing. He shaped well enough when finishing third of 11 at Yarmouth last month and another good run can be expected. That said Laish Ya Hajar looks potentially well treated on his best form and if anywhere near his best he will prove difficult to beat.
