Verdict

EL DECECY is given the vote to land this seller ahead of Montmartre and Steig. The selection has won three times this season all of which have been in this grade. He has disappointed in handicap-company in between those victories, but back in this selling grade he warrants plenty of respect. Montmarte is relatively unexposed with only four runs under his belt. He ran well enough in his third maiden race at Nottingham finishing fifth of 12 but he disappointed on his handicap debut at Doncaster last week. Now that he is dropped into this grade he should be noted in the market for any support. Steig has performed well in better races than this in the past and has been running well in claiming races of late. If he recaptures his best form he will not be far away come the business end of the race, however, El Dececy has proven himself in sellers this season and takes preference.
