Verdict

Cresswell Crusader found disappointingly little when push came to shove on his hurdling debut at Lingfield. He could improve for the experience but there are several interesting options here including Harry The Viking, who has won between the flags, and Blue Signal. The latter hasn't raced since pulling up on his debut over timber at Stratford in October, however, and preference is for THOMAS WILD. Philip Hobbs' six-year-old showed promise in bumpers and ran well on his hurdling debut over 2m4f here last month until making a mess of the fourth-last. With that run under his belt, this son of Muhtarram could be ready to open his account now. French import Rozolenn has scope and may be the pick of the remainder.
