Mambo Spirit was an impressive winner on his last run but we are drawn to the consistency of MISS FIREFLY who can win from this mark with Russian Rave also likely to feature. The pick has held her form well since scoring at Wolverhampton in February and has only just found the one too good the last twice. The latest of those was by less than a length when returning to the turf and off the same rating she has every chance. Mambo Spirit was pretty much unchallenged when an easy winner a Kempton the last time we saw him. The 6lb penalty is unlikely to stop him putting in a bold bid as he is just as effect on turf. Russian Rave ran a solid race under this burden last time in a race where the form has some strength to it while Dr Wintringham was expected to go better on his last start so could show up better this time. Another open contest but Miss Firefly is consistent and seems competitively treated.
