Verdict

Disappointingly just the four runners line up for this novice stakes race but every one of the quartet has claims, although none more so than Richard Hannon's Nottingham winner and Hilary Needler sixth INAGH RIVER, who can resume winning ways and she gets the vote ahead of Belle Bayardo and Second Empire. Stan Moore's filly has shown improvement with each start and gained a deserved first success when opening her account readily at Nottingham last month, making all to beat Ishbelle. She has claims but this is tougher so she may have to settle for minor honours. Zarazar stepped up from the form of his debut outing when a decent second in a Leicester maiden when last seen in May but he would need to improve again to trouble the judge today. Belle Bayardo has shown a consistent level of form in maidens and should be thereabouts again but Inagh River has an obvious chance in this company and gets the vote to resume winning ways.
