Verdict

The William Haggas-trained Sooraah is lightly raced and has to be considered on his handicap debut after just three starts but he does not appear to be that well treated off a mark of 70 and a safer option looks to be LEITZU, who gets the verdict ahead of My Sister. Mark Usher's filly stepped up from her reappearance run when a close up fourth behind Centime at Nottingham over 1m2f last month and she has every chance over this slightly shorter trip off a 1lb lower mark. Mark Brisbourne's Thirsk winner Hathaway has struggled in two starts since that success and of more interest may be Hugh Morrison's Mausin, who is lightly raced and could be of interest racing in a handicap for the first time. The vote though goes the way of Mick Channon's Leitzu, who has shown much improved form in recent outings, running a close second of 17 behind Kingsdine at Salisbury last time, and he looks the one that they all have to beat.
