      Verdict

There may be more to come from Let Slip, who narrowly edges preference over Della Salute, Madam Caversfield and Ferrara Flame in a tricky finale. The last named has a 6lb penalty after a solid effort here nine days ago. She obviously likes the track but has more to do in this company. Madam Caversfield has ability and looks fairly treated at present. However, she has been hard to win with and looks a risky proposition for win only purposes. Della Salute was taken off her hooves when dropped back in trip last time. She will be better suited to a mile here and, as she still has some scope for improvement, she can go close tonight. However, Let Slip created the impression that her turn was near when she was just touched off at Windsor last time. And, off only a 2lb higher mark, she every chance of delivering the good here.
