      Verdict

      Shaun Harris wastes no time bringing out Rise To Glory for a hat-trick bid after Tuesday's victory at Hamilton but he now has to carry a 12lb penalty which may stop him in his tracks. Minty Jones enjoys some cut in the ground and it was soft going when he scored over 6f here in May. He looks a danger to all but Spic 'n Span, though a 13-times winner, appears better on the all-weather these days. Proper Charlie rarely runs on Turf which is hardly surprising as he's still a maiden after 16 starts and Go Charlie was behind POSH BOUNTY at Brighton last month. The latter was making her handicap debut that day and ran easily her best race to date. It was a surprise when the assessor dropped her 1lb and this can prove within her capabilities.
