In depth

Verdict

Wasntme took advantage of a tumbling mark to score at Folkestone at the start of last month and gave the impression a return to a longer trip would suit when third on a subsequent visit to the Kent track. Lady De La Vega was third on her debut over fences at Taunton and is open to improvement, while Dromore Hill has been knocking on the door and connections will be hoping the application of first-time blinkers can finally see him get his head in front. But this looks a decent opportunity for BILLY MURPHY to fulfil this season's promise as he's been dropped a couple of pounds since finishing fourth at Lingfield and appears to have the beating of Cold Harbour and Guydus on a line through the winner of that race, Hobb's Dream.
