Verdict

Clondaw Warrior was positively ridden to beat Saint Gervais at Cork in July. The runner-up won his next two starts so the form looks solid and Shark Hanlon's four-year-old has to go on the short-list here, despite the double penalty. ALEXANDR NEVSKY stayed on well to beat favourite Wall Street Wally at Fairyhouse last month, however, and is on the upgrade. He has to concede 7lb to Fontwell winner Amber Cloud but may well be up to the task. Woodacre, a remote second on his debut at Market Rasen, needs more to figure here but the mare Queens Bay improved with experience last season and may have more to offer.
