In depth

Verdict

It's hard to see http://rules.britishhorseracing.com/Orders-and-rules&staticID=22100&depth=2 recording a hat-trick of wins in this contest given his recent performances and we prefer the chances of Marblehead. The locally trained son of Environment Friend is a mere youngster compared to his rivals but that hasn't stopped him making a decent impression in his career to date. He landed a nice touch in good style at Exeter last time out and may be able to repeat the feat tonight. Irilut has plenty of form to his name, represents leading connections and looks sure to be in the thick of the action but he was a shade disappointing between the flags last time. Caught At Dawn is another dual winner of this race and it would be a remarkable feat for this fourteen year-old to go in again and he does come into the race in decent form but we fancy the young pretender, Marblehead, to spoil the party.
