        Verdict

        God Willing has claims on last year's best form but his yard is struggling for winners at present and LACAN (NAP) is preferred. The latter beaten the useful Big Baz at Kempton in December and wasn't beaten far when sixth on last week's reappearance. Lawmans Thunder remains 12lb higher than his win at Kempton nearly a year ago and the handicapper looks to have got to grips with Forceful Appeal after the latter landed a course double at the start of the year. Zampa Manos is back on a winning mark and could go well reverting to a shorter trip after a couple of placed efforts here over 1m2f.
