BURNSWOOD is our tentative vote ahead of Blacks Bridge and Sharadiyn. This does not look a strong contest on paper so at a track that favours front runners, Charlie Egerton's charge has as good a chance as any this afternoon. Blacks Bridge was tried over three miles in Irish points so it would be no surprise to see him better over further. He was certainly very fizzy on British debut. Sharadiyn landed a touch at Sedgefield in his second ever bumper. A return to that level of form would give him obvious chances. Calcutta Cup ran creditably up at Musselburgh when tried over hurdles. He still searches for a maiden under either code of racing. Ruth Carr does not have too many hurdlers so watch out for Lunar Storm in the market. Bespoke Boy was a high class juvenile on the level but it remains to be seen as to whether he has trained on. Jetta Joy shaped with promise on a couple of recent runs at Southwell so could literally be anything. Burnswood looks best on what we have seen on the racecourse thus far.
