Not many should get into this and we take Rudi's Pet to make the most of the favourable terms he gets in on, with Signor Whippee and Chairman Bobby to complete the frame. Rudi's Pet is long enough in the tooth at 12, but has been in good form lately, winning at Musselburgh and not being beaten far by Aegean Dander when trying to follow up at Carlisle on Friday. He should still have far too much speed for these opponents and is taken to score. Signor Whippee is not drawn quite so well and would have a fair bit to find if this were a handicap. Nonetheless, he showed some spark when second in a Hamilton maiden last time and if he puts his best foot forward he can compete. Chairman Bobby has been going well without winning just lately and although he is probably better over 6f he should run his race, while both Dysonic and Alugat just look set to miss out on the money and we will plump for Rudi's Pet.
