Verdict

Plenty with claims in this at first glance, but Fleurtille, Shillito and Windforpower have all been running well over the shorter trip of 5f and Meshardal's recent wins have been in lowly handicaps on the all-weather. With that in mind, BANOVALLUM makes most appeal as he scored over 6f at Beverley last time and an apprentice's allowance negates a 6lb rise. Take The Lead looks the biggest threat as she scored over today's trip on the Fibresand at Southwell in January and can race off the same mark back on Turf.
