In depth

Verdict

The card gets underway with a tricky juvenile seller and we will side with Jack It, Baytown Lulu and Compton Lad look the obvious dangers. Mick Channon's charge was easy to back on his Lingfield debut and wasn't given a hard time once his chance had gone. He will know a lot more about the game this afternoon and will appreciate this drop in class. Baytown Lulu is the most exposed runner in the line up, but has shown plenty of ability in this grade. There is no reason to suggest she won't run her race today and she should be capable of making the frame again. Compton Lad is the only newcomer in the line up and he will not have to be anything special to figure in this weak event. Lucys Lady is from a yard going well so should be watched for any market move, but Jack It should step up on his debut and gets our vote.
