Verdict

Special Catch won a bumper here in December and made a promising debut over timber behind the useful Oscar Nominee at Doncaster. That form looks stronger than Tick Tocker's second to Vuvuzela at Sedgefield though Donald McCain's charge does have a fitness advantage. WALKABOUT CREEK, a winning point-to-pointer, ran well in several bumpers before making a fine debut over timber at Market Rasen where he found The Mumper just too strong. He can make further progress and take this though John Quinn introduces an interesting newcomer in O Ma Lad, lightly-raced and three times a winner on the Flat including at this track in May.
