Verdict

The feature event of the day and HOTHAM can quickly follow up his Musselburgh success of seven days ago and land this. 4lb higher for that win, Noel Wilson's charge has improved right throughout the season and in a wide open heat he appeals as the likliest winner. Judge 'n Jury, a winner on three of his last five starts faces a stiff task off his new mark. Secret Asset continues to run to his mark without getting his head in front while the same can be said of Misaro. Haajes could now be in the grip of the assessor while one that cannot be discounted too lightly is Captain Dunne who continues to edge up the weights but matches that with solid performances, most notably last time. Hotham is given the vote to win it.
